One has to wonder why #9 is accused of "retaliating" against #3 for something from 9-22 -- when nothing was done on 9-22 about what #3 did to #9 -- so apparently none of the track officials thought #3 did anything wrong -- and #9 has NOT talked to ANY of the track officials about what he thought about the racing on 9-22. Hmmmmm . . .
Though I was told (while in the office) that #3 was also being DQ'd for his behavior during the heat race, I see on the posted results that he is NOT listed as DQ'd . . .

Reposted here from Friday nights comments because this incident is VERY similar to what happened with #9 & #3 -- except the ruling was the exact opposite in this case!
Comments regarding #23 who is DQ'd for rough driving in B-Main #1 on Friday Night :: Entering t/1 on the final lap of the race #23 gets a run on #8 on the very bottom of the track as #8 pushes up slightly entering the turn & leaves an opening. #23 & #8 are running side-by-side thru the turn & as they are exiting t/2. I am zoomed in on these 2 cars, & cannot see #23 pushing up at all. Coming out of t/2 it looks like #8 is cutting down on the #23 as the nose of #23 can be seen being shoved towards one of the tires in the infield -- which kicks out the rear of his car -- which gets into the rear of #8 -- & then #8 starts a spin towards the infield. If #23 had stayed in the gas, #8 would have been spun completely around. But #23 is obviously out of the gas & #8 does NOT turn completely around as #23's actions actually allow #8 to get back straight on the track without a complete spinout.
Based on the "reasoning" behind this ruling regarding #8 & #23 -- #9 did not do anything wrong in the incident with #3.
On the other hand, based on the "reasoning" in the incident between #9 & #3, then #23 did not do anything wrong in his incident with #8.
